VerticeHost's zero-tolerance policy for abuse and abuse reporting procedures.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

VerticeHost maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. We take all abuse reports seriously and investigate promptly.

2. Types of Abuse

Abuse includes but is not limited to:

  • Network abuse: port scanning, brute-force attacks, exploit attempts, DDoS participation
  • Content abuse: illegal content, child exploitation material, extreme violence, hate speech
  • Resource abuse: sustained 100% CPU, disk I/O saturation, network saturation affecting other customers
  • Email abuse: spam, phishing, bulk unsolicited messages
  • Credential abuse: credential stuffing, account takeover attempts

3. Reporting Abuse

Abuse reports can be submitted via:

  • Email: abuse@verticehost.com
  • Abuse reporting form (available in client area)
  • Support ticket with "Abuse Report" as subject

Please include relevant logs, timestamps, IP addresses, and any other evidence.

4. Investigation & Response

Abuse reports are investigated within 24 hours. Confirmed abuse may result in:

  • Immediate service suspension pending investigation
  • Notification to the customer
  • Permanent account termination for repeated or severe abuse (without refund)
  • Reporting to relevant authorities where legally required

5. False Reports

Knowingly submitting false abuse reports may result in account restrictions.
