ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION POLICY
Conditions under which VerticeHost may suspend or terminate customer accounts and services.
1. Grounds for Suspension
VerticeHost may suspend services immediately for:
- Non-payment or overdue invoices (after grace period)
- Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy or Abuse Policy
- Confirmed abuse reports (DDoS, malware, spam, etc.)
- Security threats or unauthorized activity
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity
- Actions negatively affecting other customers or infrastructure
- Legal orders or regulatory requirements
2. Suspension Process
- Customers will be notified via email and/or client area
- Suspension reason will be provided where legally permissible
- Suspended services are inaccessible but data is preserved
- Customers may appeal suspensions via support ticket
3. Reinstatement
- Services may be reinstated upon resolution of the underlying issue
- Payment of any applicable reinstatement fees may be required
- Repeated suspensions may require additional verification or deposits
- VerticeHost reserves the right to deny reinstatement for severe violations
4. Grounds for Termination
VerticeHost may terminate services immediately for:
- Repeated or severe AUP/Abuse Policy violations
- Fraud, identity theft, or payment fraud
- Illegal activities hosted on or conducted through our services
- Failure to resolve suspension issues within 30 days
- Court orders or legal requirements
5. Termination Effects
- All access to the service is permanently revoked
- No refund is provided for the remainder of the billing period
- Data may be permanently deleted after 30 days
- Customers are responsible for downloading data prior to termination
- Outstanding balances remain due and payable
6. Data After Termination
Customer data may be permanently deleted 30 days after termination. No data recovery is possible after permanent deletion. Legal holds may extend retention.
