Digital Millennium Copyright Act compliance and copyright infringement reporting procedures.

1. DMCA Compliance

VerticeHost respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We respond to valid copyright infringement notices in accordance with applicable law.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

To file a DMCA notice, send a written notification to dmca@verticehost.com including:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • Identification of the infringing material and its location (URLs)
  • Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
  • A statement that the information is accurate, under penalty of perjury
  • Your physical or electronic signature

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification including:

  • Identification of the removed material and its previous location
  • Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Upon valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in 10-14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.

4. Repeat Infringers

VerticeHost maintains a policy of terminating accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Multiple valid DMCA notices against a customer's services may result in service suspension or termination.

5. Abuse of DMCA Process

Knowingly submitting false DMCA notices or counter-notifications may result in legal liability and account restrictions.
